On December 16, 2013, a fire started on the 10th floor of an 11-story senior living apartment building. The fire damage was contained to one single unit, but a total of 34 occupied units were affected by either smoke or water. The 10th and 11th floors suffered heavy smoke damages, and the 9th floor was impacted by water.
JC Restoration was contacted to provide fire restoration services for the building. Within one day of the fire, the JCR Large Loss Recovery Team arrived onsite to start the mitigation and recovery process. They handled the situation and the fire damage cleanup with care to avoid displacing members of the apartment community.
Among the services completed were: emergency service mitigation, structure cleaning, smoke odor deodorization, smoke damage restoration, demolition, debris removal, as well as dehumidification.
