July 22, 2016 – Panhandle Cleaning and Restoration, a member company of DKI, North America’s largest disaster restoration contracting organization, today announced it raised $9,212.72 for the American Red Cross W.Va. Flood Relief at the annual country music fest, Jamboree in the Hills Pre-Party on July 13, 2016.

The Pre-Party is a free concert hosted each year by Panhandle, to kick off the 40th anniversary of Jamboree in the Hills. This year’s performance was by national recording artist Phil Vassar.

Before the concert, The Wheeling Professional Firefighters, Local 12 WKRC-TV and Cumberland Trail Career Firefighters stood outside the entry gates with Panhandle employees from 4:00 p.m. through the start of the concert at 7:30 p.m. to help collect donations for those affected by the June, 2016 floods, the worst flooding event of W.Va. in 100 years.

Panhandle started the fundraising by pledging the first $5,000. All donations will be given to the Red Cross to provide shelter, meals, relief supplies, health services and emotional support.
