ProTech DKI woman owned 2

February 28, 2020 – ProTech Water Damage, a member company of DKI, North America’s largest disaster restoration contracting organization, is honored to announce that it has been certified as a Woman-owned Business Enterprise (WBE) and Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB). Per the National Women Business Owners Corporation (NWBOC), these certifications are effective February 10, 2020.

NWBOC, the nation’s first third-party certifier of women-owned businesses in the United States, has helped its certified members become more sustainable and procurement-ready to partner with government and private sectors for more than 20 years. By including women-owned businesses among their partners, corporations and government agencies can demonstrate their support for diversity and diverse supplier relationships.

To qualify for certification, ProTech had to meet all of NWBOC’s necessary standards and procedures, including an in-depth review, confirming the business is at least 51 percent owned by a woman or women of U.S. citizenship and operated and controlled daily by women, along with an onsite inspection.

“Congratulations to Sherry Featherstone and the team at ProTech Water Damage for this incredible accomplishment,” said DKI President and COO Matt Wright.
