HUDSON VALLEY DKI NOW SERVICES THE HEALTHCARE INDUSTRY WITH STATE OF THE ART TECHNOLOGY

(New Hampton., N.Y., Dec. 5, 2017) – Hudson Valley DKI, a member company of DKI, North America’s largest disaster restoration contracting organization, announced it has expanded its business portfolio with Healthcare and Environmental Services. This new division offers optimal infection control and effective containment, disinfection and decontamination services, using the latest technology from STARC Containment Systems and TOMI Environmental Solutions.

By partnering with STARC and TOMI, Hudson Valley DKI can achieve a safe environment for patients, families, staff and practitioners during the disaster restoration and recovery process.

SteraMist™, powered by Binary Ionization Technology® (BIT™), is TOMI’s premier product developed by the Department of Defense (DOD) and Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) to combat the post-September 11 anthrax attacks. It can be used in reducing Hospital-Acquired Infection (HAI) rates across NY, thus reducing the cost of healthcare. SteraMist™ is approved for hospitals, schools, gyms, senior living facilities, hotels and more, and has been utilized in Ebola prevention protocols, as well as has effectively offered high capacity disinfection to kill pathogenic bacteria and other inactivate viruses plaguing medical facilities, including Clostridium difficile spores, Pseudomonas, MRSA, Staph, and Influenza.

Developed in the healthcare construction environment, the STARC® modular containment system utilizes interchangeable components to create a safe, secure and dustless separation wall for many uses, including construction renovation, critical care isolation or temporary isolation applications. The all metal, reusable modules, designed for maximum durability, ruggedness, doorways and wall interfaces, along with the anchoring brackets, provide a complete toolkit to handle any containment scenario.

“We are excited to have this cutting-edge technology on board with us here at Hudson Valley DKI, complementing our already unsurpassed emergency and disaster response services to residential and commercial customers here in the Hudson Valley area,” said Owner Angelo Ferrante.
