K-TECH KLEENING SUPPORTS LOCAL FAMILIES FOR THE HOLIDAYS
Dec. 23, 2019 – K-tech Kleening Systems, a member company of DKI, North America’s largest disaster restoration contracting organization, proudly donated 400 holiday food baskets to less fortunate families throughout Central Wisconsin.
On December 12, K-tech’s warehouse was transformed into an assembly line of food products, including items for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and even a few snacks. Students from DC Everest Evergreen Elementary made their way through the food line numerous times to fill the baskets.
“For over 20 years, this group of business friends and family have come together for this amazing event to help families of North Central Wisconsin during the holidays,” said President Craig Kersemeier of K-tech. “K-tech Charities is blessed to have this support to make this yearly event happen and hopefully put a smile on 400 families in this area.”
More than ten tons of food were purchased for the baskets by the more than $20,000 raised during K-tech Charities’ annual Fairway Fore Food Golf Outing, which was held on September 14.
With the help of community volunteers, the assembled food baskets were distributed to families in need throughout Central Wisconsin on December 14.
