JUSTIN HELMS WITH UDK HONORED WITH UTAH’S FIRST WLS PILLAR DESIGNATION
(May 24, 2019) – Utah Disaster Kleenup (UDK), a member company of DKI’s elite contracting network, proudly announced its brand manager for the St. George market, Justin Helms, was awarded a WLS (Water Loss Specialist) pillar designation.
Helms was presented the certification during the RIA (Restoration Industry Association) Conference in Phoenix, AZ on April 30, 2019. He is currently the only WLS registered in the state of Utah.
To be eligible for one of the RIA advanced pillar programs, a contractor must meet certain education and experience requirements, complete prerequisite courses consisting of basic skills and hands-on training, and pass the certification exam. The pillar programs consist of four advanced certification programs, including WLS, as well as CLS (Contents Loss Specialist), FLS (Fire Loss Specialist) and ERS (Environmental Response Specialist). Completion of each program distinguishes a contractor as an expert in that specific area of loss within the restoration industry.
“We are so proud of Justin and the amount of effort it took to earn this prestigious designation,” said Keri Jones, UDK’s director of sales and marketing.
The WLS pillar designation is recognized by insurance companies, building owners and managers, as well as the public and governmental authorities, as the premier achievement of excellence.
