J.C. RESTORATION, INC.’S TOM TAFF NOMINATED FOR INDUCTION IN CHICAGO 16-INCH SOFTBALL HALL OF FAME
Nov. 20, 2018 – J.C. Restoration (JCR), a member company of DKI Services, North America’s largest disaster restoration contracting organization, announced Tom Taff, their director for the 1-800-BOARDUP division, is a candidate for the Chicago 16-inch Softball Hall of Fame.
The Hall of Fame began in 1995 and has inducted more than 500 former and current softball players, umpires, managers, organizers and supporters.
Taff is up for induction for the Organizer category. For the past 20 years, he has been helping raise funds for the Illinois Fire Safety Alliance’s (IFSA) Camp “I Am Me” each year through his annual Bucks for Burn Camp Softball Tournament. From the last 11 years alone, Bucks for Burn Camp has raised and donated more than $1.2 million to the IFSA.
