American Integrity Restoration and Team Hot AIR are “Running for a Reason”

September 27, 2016 –  American Integrity Restoration (AIR), a member company of DKI, North America’s largest disaster restoration contracting organization, announced that they are participating in the Connecticut River Valley Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Apple Harvest Festival 5K on Sunday, October 16 at 9:30 a.m. at the Riverfront Park in Glastonbury.

This is the sixth consecutive year AIR will participate in the event, donating $10 to a family or cause for every registered Team Hot AIR runner. This year, they are supporting 4-year-old Emma France, who has Crouzon Syndrome, a congenital condition. Allegra Weir, AIR Owner Steve Weir’s wife, has known Emma’s father, Drew France, since childhood. Emma has already had two cranial surgeries, and will likely require more as she grows.

Emma and her family started Team Emma to raise awareness and funds for her to participate in a fundraiser called Paces for Faces, which occurs three weeks prior to the Applefest 5k.  All of Team Hot AIR’s donations will go to Team Emma.

If you want to participate in the AppleFest 5k and donate to Team Emma, please register online at www.crvchamber.org. Make sure to click on Team Hot AIR, so an automatic $10 donation is given to Emma and her family. All registrants will receive an AppleFest ticket, Angry Orchard Cider mug and a glass of Angry Orchard hard cider for those 21 years and older, courtesy of the Chamber of Commerce and Angry Orchard Cider, along with a complimentary Team Hot AIR shirt.

“We wish to have the largest team again and raise some money to put a smile on this precious 4-year-old’s face,” said Allegra.

If you have any questions, email Allegra Weir at [email protected].
