When disaster strikes your home or office, DKI is the company you can trust to restore things to their original condition. DKI’s trained and experienced specialists have performed restoration work for nationwide properties within a variety of verticals, from water damage projects to mold remediation. For every project, we make it our goal to restore the property quickly and effectively. Here’s are some highlights of our previous work:
From residential houses to underground parking garages, flooding can happen anywhere. Some of our past projects relating to water damage include a $1.5 million restoration of two- and three-story apartment complexes in Colorado that were damaged by heavy rainfall, a $35,000 to $40,000 restoration restoration of a damaged historic home in suburban Chicago, and a mitigation and reconstruction of a large underground parking structure that had flooded with approximately 3.2 million gallons of water in Lisle, Illinois. Services include structural drying, cleaning & decontamination, refrigerant and desiccant dehumidification, environmental control, thermal imagining & moisture detection, etc
When fire breaks out, damage happens fast — leaving serious consequences for property owners. We’ve worked on restoration projects for buildings damaged by fire that include apartment buildings, private homes and historic structures. Services include smoke & odor removal, structural cleaning and decontamination, demolition & debris removal, hazardous material removal, etc.
The burden of responding to mold in a property easily overwhelms homeowners. DKI has the ability to evaluate a location, form a plan of action,- NOT TRUE that work is done by an industrial hygienist. DKI performs the recommended remediation services to eliminate mold from the premises, the way we did at a two-story home that had experienced a long-term plumbing leak and its ramifications.
Our restoration services extend beyond water damage, fire damage and mold remediation as well. When a private island in the San Juan Islands north of Seattle, Washington, had a collapsed cistern, we repaired the structure over a period of two years, using the Washington State ferry system, a private boat and a private plane to transport barges of concrete and complete the project.
