DKI began in 1974 with a commitment to providing opportunities to service providers and clients across North America. Our founder, Ed York, began penning a business plan for a fictitious restoration organization to submit for his graduate class. Utilizing the knowledge and expertise he had gained from developing the highly-regarded Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification and Society of Cleaning and Restoration Technicians, DKI’s foundation was formed.
Today, DKI comprises over 200 elite service providers throughout the country.
